Charlie Sheen Is Denying He Abused Corey Haim

It's been a long few weeks in Hollywood, as allegations have been lobbied against various people in the entertainment industry, including the likes of Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and recently, Charlie Sheen. A tabloid story over at the National Enquirer broke yesterday, in which Corey Haim's close friend Dominick Brascia reportedly outed Sheen for sexually assaulting Haim on the set of Lucas. Now, Charlie Sheen has spoken out to deny the allegations. A spokesperson made the following succinct comment about the report, noting,

He absolutely denies the claim.

The initial report, as told by Dominick Brascia, alleges that Corey Haim was 13 when he was working on the set of Lucas. At the time, Charlie Sheen was 19, and Brascia says that they "smoked pot and had sex" while they were filming Lucas, which premiered in 1986. Then, Charlie Sheen reportedly rejected the young actor, according to Brascia.

He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested.

The two later reportedly had sex again nearly a decade later, after which Haim is stated to have gotten over the actor. By this period in Sheen's career, he had already moved on from early stardom, was in his mid-to-late twenties and was taking roles in movies like Major League II, Money Talks and even a guest stint on Friends.

Haim's friend Corey Feldman came out several years ago to reveal that he and Corey Haim were both taken advantage of as young actors in Hollywood. Although it took some time for Feldman to go into further detail regarding what he remembers from being a teenager in Hollywood, he recently went on Dr. Oz and named some of the people he says harmed him, including Jon Grissom, a man who was a former assistant to Feldman.

Corey Feldman has not spoken out about exactly what Corey Haim went through, and of course, Haim is no longer around to address the allegations himself. Haim passed away in 2010 at the age of 38 of natural causes.

Charlie Sheen, however, has been having a tough time for years, now. His issues became public when he was fired from the set of Two and a Half Men all the way back in 2011. He had a public breakdown on social media afterward, spawning the now famous hashtag #winning. He briefly got it together and made a comeback with the FX comedy Anger Management before revealing an HIV diagnosis on live television back in 2015. Since then, he has only had small roles in TV shows like #Cybriety and starred in the widely panned 9/11 film in 2017.

We'll let you know if any more news breaks in regards to these allegations. In the meantime, you can read the full National Enquirer report. The statement from Sheen's rep was given to People.
