Where You Can Watch Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Streaming

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was both one of the most fun, and most emotional, movies of this past summer. While the MCU entry might not exactly be a Christmas movie, its focus on family may make the title a good choice for when you get together with yours during the upcoming season. For those who like to keep their shelves uncluttered by Blu-Ray disc boxes, there are several streaming options for checking out Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

The fastest and simplest option for many people will be the newest way to stream Guardians Vol. 2, Netflix. As of now, the film is available to subscribers of the streaming service within the United States. If you're not currently a subscriber, Netflix is currently running their standard deal of 30-days free to new customers, so you can actually watch the film free of charge this month. Netflix streaming service is accessible on numerous devices that you likely already own, such as many new televisions, Blu-Ray players, and game consoles, including, of course, tablets and smartphones and your PC.

The release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on Netflix is part of the on-going deal with Disney that has seen previous Marvel movies, as well as animated features, released on the service. Movies like Captain America: Civil War and Zootopia are still available on Netflix, so there doesn't appear to be a short window for their availability. Having said that, we know that since Disney is working on the company's own streaming service, Marvel, and all other Disney films, will be leaving Netflix at some point in the future. We don't know exactly when that will be. Disney isn't looking to start its service until sometime in 2019, so we could have some time, but whenever the current deal expires, Guardians Vol 2, and everything else will be gone.

If Netflix isn't your thing, the movie is available through most other online streaming platforms such as Amazon Video, Google Play, Microsoft's store, iTunes, and Vudu. Pricing is standardized for Disney movies so you'll be paying the same price regardless of your source. HD rentals go for $3.99 while purchasing the movie outright will run you $19.99. You can save $5 on a purchase, or $1 on a rental if you buy in non-HD, if you're some kind of monster. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is also available in UHD from Vudu for $24.99 if you've picked up a capable display.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is also part of the (greatest invention of the modern age) Movies Anywhere serivce (formerly Disney Movies Anywhere) which means that if you purchase the film digitally from any participating service, you'll have access to the film through all the others as well. Any of the above options work for that, with the exception of the Microsoft Store. Purchasing a physical copy of the film that includes a digital code will also add the film to your Movie Anywhere library.

At this point, there's really no excuse to not watch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. If you haven't seen it, it's an easy problem to fix. If you have seen it, go watch it again.
