Ice Age: Continental Drift Photos Feature Manny, Diego, Sid And Other Characters

Those familiar paleolithic pals will be off on another adventure again soon enough. I am, of course, referring to Manny, Diego, and Sid, of Ice Age. Some new photos from the next installment to the franchise have made their way online and give us a look at the trio, as well as some other characters set to be featured in Ice Age: Continental Drift.

Continental Drift will have Manny the mammoth, Diego the Smilodon, and Sid the sloth set off to sea when their continent is set adrift. They’ll use an iceberg as a ship as they take off on a new adventure, which apparently includes meeting sea creatures and battling pirates. Denis Leary, Ray Romano, and John Leguizamo are all set to return to lend their voices to their characters yet again, and they’ll be joined by a host of other recognizable names.

Below are some photos that give us a look at the characters. Click the images to see bigger versions of them.

Shown in the foreground are Manny (Ray Romano), Diego (Denis Leary), Sid (John Leguizamo), Granny (Wanda Sykes), Shira (Jennifer Lopez).

And since you can barely see the characters in the background, here they are below. They don’t look friendly. A lot of exposed teeth and pointy things.

Flynn (Nick Frost), Squint (Aziz Ansari), Shira (Jennifer Lopez), Scrat, Gutt (Peter Dinklage), Silas (Alain Chabat), Raz (Rebel Wilson), and Dobson (no voice).

It’s great to have some faces to put with the (excellent) voices.

And just in case you can’t see what’s going on with Scrat, the furry little saber-toothed squirrel seems to be in yet another acorn related predicament...

Ice Age arrives in theaters on July 13. More information for the film can be found in our Blend Film Database.
