The music world may have just found its hottest new couple. Jennifer Lopez and Drake fueled the rumors of their new relationship on Wednesday morning when they both posted a photo of themselves cuddled up with one another on a couch.
In what seems pretty clearly to be an orchestrated maneuver --- or just a really big coincidence --- both Jennifer Lopez and Drake posted the same photo of themselves at the exact same time to Instagram Wednesday morning, and many fans are interpreting the cuddly pic as confirmation that the two superstars are dating. The adorable photo show Lopez laying on Drake's lap while he embraces her in his arms.
Pretty intimate, right!? It's no wonder that everyone is assuming that the singers are more than just friends. Rumors that Drake and Jennifer Lopez were starting a romance began earlier this month when the R&B crooner stopped by Lopez's Las Vegas show for two nights in a row. Drake took the opportunity to get a selfie with Lopez, and posted it was a heart eyes emoji in the caption.
The pair have been spotted out and about several times since then, and a source has confirmed to E! News that Drake and Jennifer Lopez are indeed an item. According to the source, the singers are dating but not exclusive at this point, but went on to say that Drake is really into Lopez and they have a great chemistry, so a more solid relationship could very well be on the way.
While fans of the singers are leaping for joy at the prospect of this new couple, one person who is decidedly not a fan is Drake's rumored on-again-off-again flame Rihanna. Perceptive social media users noticed that Rihanna unfollowed Jennifer Lopez on both Instagram and Twitter over the holidays.
But possible ex drama aside, the new relationship would mean that Jennifer Lopez is ready to get back into a romantic place after her ending her five-year relationship with backup dancer Casper Smart a few months back. As for Drake, his last rumored romance was with Taylor Swift a couple of months ago, but that relationship was most likely just for some buzz rather than actually being anything substantial. We'll just have to wait and see how serious this Drake/J-Lo lovefest is going to get.
