Jennifer Lopez is currently dating retired MLB player Alex Rodriguez, but is she planning to put a ring back on her finger? According to the musician/actress herself, not anytime soon. As she recently revealed in a new interview, Jennifer Lopez is happily in love, but she's not looking for another husband yet.
Speaking with Harper's Bazaar, Jennifer Lopez discussed the recent state of her love life. While she's not afraid to admit that she's completely in love with Alex Rodriguez, marriage isn't something she's looking to return to right now. She doesn't want to "force anything" between the two lovers.
Don't expect J.Lo and A-Rod to walk down the aisle anytime soon then. She believes that is for the best right now, and for life is going. Now that she's older and maybe confident and mature about these type of things, Lopez wants to enjoy all the happiness that comes from her relationship. Marriage raise the stakes, and she doesn't want to do anything that's rash. Lopez believes Alex Rodriguez is sympathetic and understanding of that, and she thinks that's the smartest thing she can do at the present moment.
Jennifer Lopez has been married three times, so she knows what she's talking about. Her previous husbands include actors Ojani Noa and Cris Judd, whom she was only married to for a year or two. Most notably she was with fellow singer Marc Anthony, and they were together for ten years. It is also worth noting that she had a very high profile relationship with Ben Affleck, so Jennifer Lopez knows all about public scrutiny when it relates to her relationships and love life. Taking it casually seems to be the appropriate way for J.Lo to go; tt's certainly a direction she enjoys taking right now.
Only a few months ago, Jennifer Lopez discussed why she believes she gets along so well with Alex Rodriguez.
Even though Jennifer Lopez isn't looking to get marriage number four underway, she's happy with her man and the current state of her love life. That's certainly good enough. As an actress, Jennifer Lopez is set to appear in Second Act, which comes out in November. Lopez is also tapped to play Rose Alvarez in Bye Bye Birdie Live!, which is set to air on NBC in 2019. It was initially set to air both last year and the year prior, but J. Lo's busy schedule keeps delaying it. She plays the lead role in Shades of Blue, which was renewed for a third season a year ago. Lopez also cameoed on Will & Grace recently. So, yeah, J.Lo is keeping busy. You can't fault Jenny from the Block for not wanting to get another rock on her finger anytime soon.
