Meghan Markle is currently getting situated into the life of royalty, especially with all the preparations involved, and the next stage of the process is now complete. The bride-to-be is also going to be a wax figure soon, as her mold will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Times Square in New York City later this spring. With each day, Markle's status as a member of the royal family becomes more and more official as the Royal Wedding looms ahead.
Entertainment Tonight covered the latest Meghan Markle news. The wax figure debuts in early May, close to the Royal Wedding on May 19th. Madame Tussauds promises that the upcoming mold will be in "her royal likeness," and that it will "reflect an iconic moment in Meghan's royal journey so far." It'll be available for free for the public to see when they present their ID, though the deal closes after the Royal Wedding commences. Markle's wax figure is, of course, placed next to Prince Harry. Christine Haughney, the Regional Head of Marketing at Merlin Entertainments had to say this:
It wasn't long ago when the rest of the royal family made their debuts at Madame Tussauds. Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth were only added in the fall of 2014. Kate Middleton and Prince William were included shortly before. Nevertheless, it's fitting that Prince Harry should have his future wife by his side, in wax form and otherwise.
Speaking of the real-life Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (no offense, wax figure clones), they are currently keeping themselves busy with wedding preparations. With a guest list that's estimated to include over 2,000 people, including celebrities like Elton John, Ed Sheeran and the Spice Girls (rumor has it they'll perform their first show in ages during the reception), along with a couple of Prince Harry's noteworthy exes, they've got quite a few people attending their royal nuptials, the biggest wedding of the year. It'll also be broadcasted live for all the world to see. So, you know, no pressure.
Meanwhile, this recent wax tribute is one of many ways Meghan Markle is getting accepted into the royal family this year. Last week, the princess-to-be attended her first public event with the Queen, as they celebrated Commonwealth Day together. The Queen also gave her blessing to the Royal Wedding a few days later. Markle is also learning from her future sister-in-law. The future princess adopted Kate Middleton's signature Duchess Slant.
Meghan Markle was also recently immortalized in a different way yesterday. She received her very own emojis, which will also be available soon.
