Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Somehow Snuck A Wedding Past Us
Given how seriously they’ve gotten this quickly, it’s not surprising Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively would eventually want to marry each other. It is, however, shocking they somehow tied the knot this afternoon and without any members of the media catching wind of what was happening.
The ceremony took place this afternoon at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, about twenty minutes Northeast of Charleston. Guests reportedly danced in a white tent during a deejay set and later were treated to three songs by Lively’s good friend Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine. None of the other invited guests have been publically identified thus far, but according to People, Bette Midler was seen sharing a meal with Lively’s mother and sister earlier in the weekend. So, her attendance is a pretty safe bet at the wedding.
Ryan and Blake were first publically spotted hanging out a little less than a year ago following their work on Green Lantern. His marriage had recently ended with Scarlett Johansson, and she had recently come out of a relationship with Leonardo Dicaprio. The relationship made a lot of sense given its timing, but it raised a few eyebrows back in April when they bought a home together. Obviously, the two were even more serious than that action indicated.
Pop Blend’s sincerest congratulations go out to the two beautiful stars. I have no idea how they pulled off a wedding without any photographers they didn't hire, but if they offered their secrets to other celebrities, I bet they could make millions. Here’s to hoping they spend the rest of their lives strengthening bonds and pushing each other to great heights.
