Gwyneth Paltrow Says She And Husband Chris Martin Are Very Like-Minded

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s marriage is going strong. The two have a lovely family and plenty of things to talk about and activities to do together. However, because both Martin and Paltrow consider themselves to be artists, their dramatic flair and need for creative space does cause trouble in the couple’s relationship every now and again.

Paltrow is the cover girl for the October issue of In Style. Within the pages of the magazine, she talks about plenty of positive things, including her occasional desire for a new baby and her indulgent love of ice cream. However, when it comes down to her relationship, her days are not all rainbows and sunshine. Paltrow told interviewer (and famous fashion icon) Diane Von Furstenberg that dealing with her husband can sometimes be demanding.

"Our artistic temperaments together [is the hardest part]. Artists are sensitive. There are ups and downs, mood-wise. Musicians need a certain gravitas and focus in order to write. The temperament that goes with someone who is creative can be challenging."

Every couple has troubles and some issues to work through, but overall, disagreeing sometimes can be a positive experience, if it makes you think about the way you interact with and treat the people you love. Besides, Paltrow says she and her husband have been working hard to keep things bright and amiable since they got married in 2003.

"We laugh a lot, and at the same jokes. We like the same music and we like to do the same things."
