Jon Gosselin Says He And Kate Are Getting Along Better

When Kate Gosselin learned her former husband, Jon, was cheating on her, the timing was inopportune. The couple and their eight children were in the midst of one of TLC’s most successful reality show runs ever, with Jon and Kate Plus Eight pulling in viewers in the multi-millions and large family's escapades being smack dab in the middle of the public eye. With a relationship so known, any break-up would be devastating for both the couple and their viewers, but under the circumstances, when the couple divorced in 2009, the spat was extremely ostracizing.

In the years since, the couple repaired their lives. Kate and the kids went on to appear in Kate Plus Eight and Jon tried out a slew of women before dating Ellen Ross for a lengthier period (although they now have broken up). However, whether or not they were really working together to parent their eight children – Cara, Madelyn, Aaden, Collin, Joel, Leah, Alexis, and Hannah – was another question all together.

On Thursday, Gosselin was at a SVEDKA-hosted event in Los Angeles when he spoke with US Weekly to clear up any misconceptions the public may have about the ex-couple.

"We're doing our best to co-parent. Sometimes we argue, obviously, so we have our differences in parenting and in life in general, but we only do what we can handle."

It’s good to see the two Gosselins are doing their best to get along. Having eight kids is quite a feat and certainly requires a little extra parenting. The more the two can be on the same page, the better it will be for all parties involved.
