Say what you will about Lady Gaga, but she certainly cares about her fans, even when it affects her wallet. The pop star announced over the weekend that she’s paying for mental health professionals to be onsite prior to her performances on the Born This Way Ball tour. Each date will include a tailgate-like party prior to the show complete with music and mental health professionals that will allow anyone and everyone to discuss any issues with depression they might be facing in either group or private sessions.

The Mother Monster made the announcement on her Facebook page, and it quickly generated more than ten thousand likes from little appreciative monsters. You can take a look at an excerpt of her reasoning below…
”BornBrave Bus Is a place where mental health + depression are taken seriously w/ no judgement, FREE real help available to all. I feel like most kids don't look for help because they feel embarrassed so mom + I wanted to break the stigmas around "help" and make it fun.”

I have no idea how much this will wind up costing Lady Gaga, but generous acts like this no doubt pay for themselves in terms of fan loyalty. Over the past few years, the singer has been able to foster such a connection with many of her fans. Both sides clearly care very deeply about the other, and in the long run, this Born Brave Bus could actually save a few lives. Sometimes a person admitting he or she needs help is the single toughest battle.
