Reese Witherspoon Chooses Stately Name For Newborn Son

Reese Witherspoon is a mother for the third time. The actress gave birth this morning in Los Angeles, and by all accounts, everything went great. Both mother and child are said to have made it through without any problems, and they should be able to head home this weekend alongside father Jim Toth and Reese’s older children Ava and Deacon.

The exciting news was first confirmed to US Weekly, and luckily, a few specific details of interest have emerged as well. First, the newborn is a boy. Second, his name is Tennessee James, and third, the entire family is thrilled about his arrival. That last tidbit might not be as interesting as the first two, but given Toth was reportedly apprehensive about having kids prior to spending time with Reese’s, it seems extremely important.

Witherspoon worked throughout much of her pregnancy filming The Devil’s Knot. One would imagine she’ll take some time off to be with young Tennessee over the coming months, but just how long she’ll stay away from acting is unclear. Luckily for her, there will definitely be a demand for her services whenever she decides to get back on the horse.

Pop Blend sends out its sincerest congratulations to Reese, Jim, Ava and Deacon. Here’s to hoping this entire family is able to seamlessly blend and offer each other a lifetime of smiles and comfort.
