Showtime's Nurse Jackie is one of those shows that's never really been on my radar. In fact, when it was announced that Showtime was canceling United States of Tara and giving Nurse Jackie a fourth season, my first reaction was, "Wow, that's still on?" Obviously the show has its fans out there, and there's no question that Edie Falco is a talented lady, so I'm betting there will be plenty of people who are excited about this new trailer for the fourth season of Nurse Jackie.
Nurse Jackie stars Edie Falco (The Sopranos) as pill-popping ER nurse Jackie Peyton. From the look of the trailer, this year her high-wire act of trying to conceal her drug habit and affair with a pharmacist coworker has come to an end, with Jackie in the midst of a divorce and having gone through rehab. Nurse Jackie returns to Showtime on Sunday, April 8th at 9 pm ET/PT.
