Watch Bob Saget Bust Out The Fuller House Theme Song

Everywhere you look people are talking about Fuller House. The spinoff of original nineties sitcom Full House did so well on Netflix that the subscription streaming service renewed the comedy for Season 2 right away. That success may or may not have had something to do with the redone version of the original theme song, which was recently busted out by Bob Saget and Carly Rae Jepsen during a big concert. Watch the actor and the singer perform the Fuller House theme song, below.

On Friday, Carly Rae Jepsen was performing in Milwaukee when she introduced special guest Bob Saget onto the stage. The crowd freaked out for quite some time after seeing the Full House star standing in front of them, and it’s fun to watch how excited the fans were to seeing Bob Saget join the creator of the Fuller House theme. Partway through the video, they started asking Carly Rae Jepsen if the two would perform the Fuller House theme song, and they gamely obliged.

If you want to skip through all of the screaming fans, the actual song rendition starts around the 1:37 mark. Jepsen obviously had more stage presence in a musical setting than Saget, who plays Danny Tanner in Fuller House, did, but it worked out OK. Bob Saget was apparently in Milwaukee for his stand-up tour, so things just came together organically.

After the song ended, Carly Rae Jepsen had a pretty bold statement about the performance, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

That may have been the best moment of my entire life. I don’t know, I feel like we should just quit, go home after that.

This isn’t my favorite Full House reunion, though. Shortly before Fuller House was even announced, most of the cast of Full House got together for creator Jeff Franklin’s birthday and busted out the theme song in a similar fashion. It’s a must-watch, so go ahead and check it out.

Carly Rae Jepsen’s version of the Fuller House soundtrack has already had its critics, and the show as a whole hasn’t received overwhelmingly good reviews. If you have somehow missed the version the singer recorded, you can decide for yourself if it is up to snuff, below.

Still, it’s clear from the audience response to Fuller House, as well as the audience response during the concert over the weekend that Fuller House has made an impact and is likely to be around for a while. We'll let you know as soon as information about Fuller House Season 2 is available.
