Game of Thrones is known for a lot of things, including cinematic battle scenes, crisp dialogue and impressive storytelling. However, it will also probably go down in history as a show with one of the highest counts of nudity to ever exist on TV. In fact, when Game of Thrones airs on HBO each summer, we get a variety of nudity from all kinds of different angles. When put together, they make for a pretty impressive compilation, but it should go without saying that this is very, very NSFW. It also features footage that you may not want to see if you aren't caught up with the HBO series.

The Season 6 compilation kicks off with one of the most memorable nude moments of the series, when Melisandre stripped bare. Enjoy her young-ish body while it lasts though, because nudity means nudity and when Melisandre turns into an old hag, we get to see that too. There's also a nude Jon Snow---no dick shot though, much to Emilia Clarke's chagrin. There's Dany in the tub and Dany surrounded by fire. There are naked actors at the theater, plenty of orgies, some lesbian kissing and much, much more.
Season 6 of Game of Thrones was actually a little less sexy than other seasons of the long-running HBO video. This year's video is only two and a half minutes long, which is shorter than the videos for previous seasons of the series. The nudity that was present was less sexualized than in previous seasons, when orgies were rampant and the Lannisters got way more ass. I mean, seriously, Cersei may have wormed her way into a crown during Season 6, but she and Jaime haven't had the proximity they normally have had--especially where bedroom antics are concerned. And there are clearly fewer prostitutes where Tyrion was located at the end of Season 6. Still, it's kind-of impressive how much plot relevant nudity Game of Thrones managed to work in.
It's hard to get serious about sex when there are so many other things going on on Game of Thrones. For instance, winter has now reached Westeros, and the White Walkers are a bigger threat than ever. Jon Snow and Sansa spent a lot of Season 6 plotting how to defeat Ramsay Bolton. Cersei schemed for the crown. Daenerys Targaryen was busy figuring out her journey toward Westeros. There's no time for hanky panky when there is death on the line!
Game of Thrones has already been renewed for Season 7 and is expected to return for an eighth season, so presumably there will be plenty of nudity where this came from. However, as we get nearer the endgame, there will likely be less time for fun in the bedroom. Let's just hope that Game of Thrones doesn't lose its sense of over-the-top gratuity completely. Because nudity is certainly something that Game of Thrones and other HBO shows like Westworld have become known for.
