FBI has been missing from the CBS lineup ever since all the way back in early December 2020, but the winter hiatus is almost at an end. In fact, viewers will get two episodes within the span of one week once the crime drama makes its 2021 debut. In the first, Maggie is facing what sounds like a complicated decision, and in the second, she'll be questioning her relationship. Here's what you can expect from the two episodes coming next week!

The first episode of FBI in the new year actually won't air in FBI's usual time slot of Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET, right ahead of FBI: Most Wanted. Instead, the new episode, called "Crazy Love," will air immediately following the AFC Championship Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 24 on CBS. As for what "Crazy Love" means for Maggie and Co., there seems to be some craziness on the way:

A shooting at a quinceañera leaves two dead, but the team believes they may not have been the intended targets. Also, Maggie is trapped between a rock and a hard place as the team decides the best plan of action for using a witness to take down the suspect.

A quinceañera will apparently take a deadly turn, but it appears the case won't be open-and-shut. Based on the trailer for "Crazy Love," that "rock" and "hard place" that Maggie is trapped between might be Nestor and OA. The two men in her life haven't exactly been best of friends throughout FBI Season 3 so far, and hints for it seems that things may get worse before they get better. If they get better at all, that is!

Whatever happens in the next couple episodes of FBI, it will evidently result in Maggie taking a good look at her relationship with Nestor even while also facing a big new case. The first episode of 2021 that will air in FBI's usual time slot will be called "Clean Slate," and here's what to expect on Tuesday, January 26 at 9 p.m. ET:

As the team searches for a young girl who was kidnapped from a cabin during a family vacation, they discover that the abduction may be tied to a skeleton in her family's closet. Also, Maggie questions her relationship with Nestor when she learns he hasn't been completely honest with her.

The relationship with Nestor has been a big step forward for Maggie, who hadn't opened herself up to romance since the death of her husband before FBI even premiered. It would be a shame for Maggie if Nestor turns out to have a dark side, but Nestor not being completely honest doesn't have to mean anything nefarious. Then again, Arrow proved that Josh Segarra knows how to play a villain as well as a charmer, so he can probably tackle whatever twists FBI may or may not have for him as Nestor!

Find out what FBI has in store for the new year starting on Sunday, January 24. "Crazy Love" is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. ET on CBS, but it will be broadcast immediately after the AFC Championship game, and there is no guarantee that the game will end right on time. As for "Clean Slate," you can find it on Tuesday, January 26 at 9 p.m. ET. For more of what's on the way, check out our 2021 winter and spring premiere schedule.
