The Witcher Star Reveals Henry Cavill's Gorgeous Wrap Gift To The Cast

Earlier this month, after over a year of delays, The Witcher was finally able to finish filming on Season 2 of the Netflix hit. While we still don't have a set date for the premiere yet, we do know that the long-awaited season will drop at some point this year, and the cast and crew were clearly elated at actually being able to finish before any more time passed. Now, we've also been clued in to the gorgeous wrap gift which star Henry Cavill gave to the cast, thanks to new Season 2 player Paul Bullion.

The Witcher Season 2 is set to broaden the world many of us were introduced to in the first season, and with that there are going to be a lot of new characters for us to become acquainted with. One of these new to the Continent characters is one that fans love from the games, the Witcher Lambert, who will be played by Paul Bullion. The actor ended his time on set in mid-March, and now he's shared the wrap gift he received from Henry Cavill once the production was done filming. Take a look at the photo Bullion posted on Twitter, and we can discuss later!

I mean, if this isn't a perfect wrap gift for Paul Bullion and everyone who played a role on The Witcher, what would be? Unless you've already forgotten everything about the first season, you'll know that this is the symbol used for the show, which features the White Wolf (Geralt), the Obsidian Star (Yennefer), and the Zireael (a swallow used to symbolize Ciri). The image was used near the opening of the season finale to show that all three timelines were finally joined.

And, this bring us to why we'll even get to see Paul Bullion's Lambert in Season 2 of The Witcher in the first place. The last moments of the Season 1 finale showed Ciri and Geralt finally meeting after several episodes of trying to locate one another. Geralt has now, officially, become a father figure to his Child of Surprise, and will be taking her to his own childhood home of Kaer Morhen to both protect and train her. It's assumed that Lambert will be there, as in the video games he helps train Ciri in the art of combat.

And, Ciri is definitely going to need that training. She's still being tracked by the Nilfgaardians, and has yet unexplained powers which she can't control, so the displaced princess is going to need a lot of help when it comes to getting her mind and life right.

Even though I'm not quite sure what this wrap gift from Henry Cavill to Paul Bullion is (Medallion? Paper weight? Tchotchke, or, rather, Witchotchke?), it's clear that he appreciated the gesture and enjoyed being initiated into the family of #WitcherBrothers.

The Witcher Season 2 is set to return to Netflix at some point later this year, but in the meantime, you can see what's coming to the streamer with our guide to the Netflix April 2021 releases!
