See Joe Jonas Attempt An Olympics Gymnastic Floor Routine In Only A Way A Jonas Brother Could

Joe Jonas landing his final move in this gymnastics floor routine on Olympic Dreams featuring Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers are just like any other siblings where competition comes second nature. That’s why their special Olympic Dreams Featuring Jonas Brothers was an excellent (in some cases, dangerous) option for the musical trio. Each brother gets bragging rights to hold over the others. During the television special, the brothers decided to try their hand at Olympic-level gymnastics. Let’s just say Joe Jonas showed why he’s a true showman during his turn.

Jonas Brothers fans know middle brother Joe Jonas is all about giving the people what they want. He evidently wanted to go full-stop not only for the viewers but also his brothers Kevin and Nick, the judges, and commentators Terry Crews and Rich Eisen. From beginning to end, Jonas put on a routine no one will ever forget. Check out Joe Jonas’ interesting floor routine below:

Where do you begin with Joe Jonas’ performance? There were, of course, Jonas’ facial expressions. Throughout the entire routine, the JoBro kept a stern look on his face. He seemingly wanted to let the judges know he was taking his floor routine seriously. Jonas did break a few times, including almost choking on chalk and his aggressive scream, which will be touched on later.

But his expressions weren’t the only highlight. There was Joe Jonas and his relationship with “Gary” – his yellow rhythmic gymnastics ribbon. From the beginning, viewers could tell he and “Gary” had a close connection as Jonas whispered to the ribbon, “You got this, Gary.” You could tell their connection was kismet once the JoBro reunited with “Gary” during his routine. But that wasn’t all the camera captured.

Joe Jonas' moves on the gymnastic floor were very interesting and unique, to be sure! All the prancing and hopping around did have a certain flow and rhythm to it. His cartwheel and heel clicks alone were standout moments in his routine. But the true highlight was the primal scream he unleashed on the floor. That scream signaled the release of some tension and excitement.

But Joe Jonas wasn’t the only one Jonas brother highlighted in the episode. Of course, watching Kevin Jonas and The Voice's Nick Jonas reacting to their brother’s hilarious routine was part of the fun. The brothers' side commentary alone made it worthwhile. But the best JoBros moment was watching the two brothers collapse in laughter on the floor upon seeing the middle Jonas’ floor scream. That just highlighted the close bond the brothers share.

The cherry on top was Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Terry Crews' and sportscaster Rich Eisen’s color commentary. The tidbits, sarcastic comments, and Olympic-level jokes took Joe Jonas’s gymnastics routine up another level. Crews’ jokes and commentary alone were comedy gold, especially when he called out Jonas’ use of chalk before the routine started.

Overall, Joe Jonas seemed fully committed to giving his all to his floor routine. He pulled off the delicate balance of dedication and hilarity to remarkable results. He even got a high score so kudos to him. If you want to catch more clips like this, check out Olympic Dreams Featuring Jonas Brothers on Hulu.
