90 Day: The Last Resort's Jovi And Yara Dressed Up As The Addams Family, And It's Giving More Than Just Healthy Co-Parenting Vibes

Warning! The following contains spoilers from the 90 Day: The Last Resort episode "The Last Text." Read at your own risk!

Jovi and Yara Dufren haven't fallen prey to as many issues as other couples featured on 90 Day: The Last Resort, but the experience (or at least the edited-for-TV version of it) has still shown how much they do have to work on. Yara's confession about secretly taking birth control, paired with Jovi's confession about refusing a job offer closer to their home, make it evident this 90 Day Fiancé pair has wide-range trust issues, and those only intensified in the latest episode. But wait a minute - [snap, snap] - ahead of the episode hitting TLC, the married couple shared some Halloween-flavored photos with their daughter Mylah, with everyone dressed in The Addams Family costumes, which has me questioning if their relationship is actually in any real danger.

In the latest Last Resort ep, Jovi was already in hot water over lying to Yara about going to a strip club, and then Big Ed Brown made it exponentially worse by mentioning Jovi tried contacting a former stripper friend to see if she still worked where they were staying. Yara then revealed this friend in question was a woman Jovi spent two weeks in Jamaica with some years ago, as well as someone he potentially hooked up with. The episode ended with Yara crying, and no doubt 90 Day: The Last Resort viewers were having some doubts about the strength of their relationship.

Not exactly the kind of behavior that's familiar to one of TV"s most amorous and romantic couplings, Gomez and Morticia Addams. But upon journeying to Jovi's Instagram ahead of time, I noticed (and appreciated) that the whole family decided to embrace the Halloween season and dressed up as the titular Addams Family husband and wife, with Mylah as a li'l Wednesday. Take a look at the photos, which give off more vibes than "healthy co-parenting" below:

I can't sit here and act like I can make a definitive ruling on the state of a marriage based off a costumed photoshoot, obviously, but there are a few takeaways. To reiterate the importance of the choices made: if you're not currently together with your spouse, choosing to dress up as the madly-in-love Morticia and Gomez Addams would be quite a choice. If Jovi was going for a more platonic vibe, he could've been Pugsly to match Mylah or chosen to go as Lurch, Cousin Itt, or even Uncle Fester.

90 Day Fiance's Yara Seems Suspicious After Video From Former Reality TV Appearance Surfaces

It also feels counterintuitive to mentally speculate about whether or not they're together based on the episode when half of this dress-up photo gallery is Jovi and Yara posing in potentially steamy-ish ways. Again, this isn't the type of one-time activity I'd expect from a former couple who ended 90 Day: The Last Resort by splitting up for good. I don't think we're going to see Antony and Cleopatra costumes from  Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa, for example, as they confirmed they're filing for divorce in this episode after he learned her secret

Aside from the photo shoot, we haven't seen any indication since filming concluded on 90 Day: The Last Resort that Yara and Jovi's relationship is in any danger. We had a heads-up on where things were headed for just about every couple in this spinoff thanks to spoilers, wedding invitations, and social media, so it would be strange to get blindsided by some Jovi and Yara breakup news in the next episode that viewers somehow missed. All this to say, they may still have problems, but I'd bet on them still being together when all is said and done.

90 Day: The Last Resort airs on Mondays on TLC at 9:00 p.m. ET. Catch up on the series with a Max subscription ahead of the "recommitment ceremony" coming up, which could be a drama-filled affair for all.
