90 Day Fiance's Yara Seems Suspicious After Video From Former Reality TV Appearance Surfaces

Warning! The following may contain spoilers for 90 Day Fiancé Season 8. Read at your own risk!

90 Day Fiancé has brought some colorful characters into Season 8, though it's clear the main couple to watch this season in terms of drama is American Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya. The couple has already shown some clear red flags in their relationship and, now, a new one may have surfaced in the form a clip that shows a previous reality television appearance by Yara.

A video has surfaced from a foreign show titled Fashion To The People, in which Yara seems to have participated in back when she was 19. In her introduction in the episode, Yara talks about the type of men she's interested in and her issues with relationships:

My name is Yaraslava, I'm 19 years old. I'm a big party girl. I love nightclubs very much. I also love rich men, foreigners preferably...It's very hard for me to believe in love, I don't know. At first I think it's love but in fact it turns out to be just sympathy for a person and it fades very quickly. Usually I meet foreigners when I walk down Khreshchatyk street, for example, it happens very often...It seems to me that they are, I don't know, better, more intelligent than Ukranian men.

Yara, who is 25 on the current season of 90 Day Fiancé, spoke in the video about her mother and father and how they separated when she was very young. Her introduction and short conversation with the host gives the impression that she's looking for a foreigner with money. Yara later says she'd be willing to tolerate a lot from a man with money, including being beaten with a rod as punishment if they have millions of dollars.

Yes, Yara Zaya really said that in a video. Check out the clip below, in which we see a much younger Yara talking about the things she'd tolerate from a relationship:

The video and its translation first surfaced on Reddit and has raised eyebrows among fans regarding Yara Zaya's intentions with Jovi Dufren. Jovi does pretty well financially with his job in the oil industry, though the demands of the job require that he spend weeks away from home during the year. One could make the argument that it's perfect for someone who questions whether or not they believe in love. With that said, a person's mind can change on a lot of things between 19 and 25, so perhaps 90 Day Fiancé viewers shouldn't assume too much based on one past television appearance.

90 Day Fiancé airs on TLC Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for more on the reality series, and for the latest news happening in television and movies.
