Spoilers below for Peggy Carter's place across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Peggy Carter has had a rough year. Not only did her story come to a close in the recent Captain America: Civil War, but the tale of her early days as a S.H.I.E.L.D agent came to an end when ABC cancelled Agent Carter. Fans of the superhero-lite series would love to see the show return in some form or another for a third season, but how does Hayley Atwell feel about such a proposition? As it turns out, the actress recently made an appearance at MagicCon and provided some much needed answers to the question of whether or not she wants more Agent Carter.
So it seems that Hayley Atwell would very much like to return to the world of Peggy Carter and continue her story, according to this and other quotes provided by one diligent Con attendee. Agent Carter struggled to maintain a strong audience on ABC over the course of its first two seasons, and as a result, the show recently became one of the many casualties of cancellations for the 2015-2016 television season. Despite the fact that Hayley Atwell very much landed on her feet and found a starring role in the new series Conviction as the talks for Season 3 were happening, she remains steadfast in her desire to tell more of Peggy Carter’s story.

Many fans of Agent Carter have cited the network as the primary culprit for the show’s lack of strong success. Because of this, a petition has begun to bring the series back on Netflix in order to piggyback off of the immense success of the streaming service's series like Daredevil and Jessica Jones.
Hayley Atwell reportedly went on to declare that she’s down to do whatever it takes in order to make sure than another season of Agent Carter produced – regardless of how grueling the shooting schedule could become:

All lab-created serums aside, it’s hard to tell if Peggy Carter’s story really needs to be told at this point. Numerous MCU movies have alluded to her life beyond the Agent Carter Season 2 finale, and her story essentially came to a close with this summer’s Captain America: Civil War when she finally passed away in her sleep. Sure, fans adore her character, and the Season 2 finale did end on a cliffhanger, but one could also make the argument that it’s time for another Marvel series to try and achieve the success that Agent Carter never really received.
What do you think? Does Agent Carter deserves another chance at life, or should Marvel stick to the show’s cancellation? We will bring you more information about Agent Carter, as well as the potential of it returning to TV, as more information becomes available to us.
