No New Flash Episode This Week, But Check Out The Awesome Out Of Time Trailer

The good news is, the next new episode of The Flash looks awesome. The bad news is, we have to wait weeks to see it, as CW has put the freshman superhero drama in reruns until later in March. The CW dropped this little nugget of disappointment in the trailer, which you can check out below...

As you can see in the trailer, the episode is not scheduled to air until March 17, which puts it about a month from the recent "Fallout" episode of The Flash. CW's listings show TV's Hottest Commercials Countdown airing on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 8:00 p.m., after which they'll rerun the "Revenge of the Rogues" episode of The Flash. The week after, they have reruns of The Flash and Supernatural lined up for Tuesday, March 3 and March 10. (And in case you're wondering, after next week's episode of Arrow, that too will be going to reruns for a couple of weeks. I wondered if maybe basketball airing on local CW affiliates played a factor in CW derailing their run of new shows, but so far, my local listings only show reruns, so who knows?

But let's take a closer look at the new trailer for The Flash's next new episode, which appears to be titled "Out of Time," though that may be CW's title for the trailer. We don't have the listings yet to confirm the official episode title. It looks like Reverse-Flash will be at the center of this episode in a big way...

reverse flash

The series has obviously been building up to this, and the trailer acknowledges that with, "They trusted him, they believed in him, but they never suspected him." We hear Barry speak at one point, but there's a bit more emphasis on Caitlin and Cisco here, as we see Cisco come face to face with the suit and eventually the fast-moving man...

cisco

While Caitlin is seen staring in shock at the sight of Dr. Well's glasses and wheelchair at their abandoned Jitters table.

Is this the episode where everything's going to come to light? And by everything, I mean almost nothing except for Wells' team coming to the shared realization that something is very amiss with their mentor. What does this mean for the show? And more directly, what's in store for Central City?

Wave

We'll find out when The Flash returns for Episode 15 on March 17.
