Will Hulu Plus Be Worth The Cost?

In anticipation of the launch of their subscription service, Hulu released a video that should give potential subscribers an idea of what $10 a month will get them.

Below is the video that should give people an indication of what the service will include.

It seems unclear whether or not TV watchers can subscribe to Hulu Plus yet as their site is a bit fuzzy on the launch details. While there’s no option to subscribe at the Hulu Plus site, interested people can “request an invitation.” The instructions for that say, “Become one of the first Hulu Plus subscribers during our preview. Enter your email address and we'll send you an invite as soon as one becomes available.”

Like many people, I wasn't exactly thrilled when I first read that Hulu was going subscription, however as an addict of Netflix's "Watch Instantly" feature, I can see the benefits of paying a few bucks a month to have unlimited access to a big selection of great TV shows. Looking at Hulu plus, it seems they could be giving Netflix a run for their money in the streaming TV show department as they not only have quite a large selection of series listed among their content but they’re also making their content available to be viewed through other devices aside from computers.

Is it worth $10 a month? I think that’ll depend on whether they continuously update their content, not only including new episodes of the series they already include, but also adding on more older shows.
