Skeet Ulrich Could Be Coming Back To CBS

CBS could be bringing Skeet Ulrich back to the small screen. The star of the network’s cancelled series Jericho has been cast in a new CBS drama pilot called Back. Meanwhile, Ashley Jenson, of Ugly Betty and Extras has been cast in a different CBS pilot. For Jenson, it’s a comedy called Accidentally On Purpose.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Back is about a guy who shows up at his hometown after an eight year absence to learn that his family reported him missing after 9/11. Ulrich plays said guy, who has to reclaim his life among the people who moved on without him. In addition to Jericho, Ulrich also played a pretty notable role in the 90’s horror film, Scream. It’s likely that Jericho fans, who are probably still sending nuts to CBS are eager to see if Back gets picked up.

Meanwhile, the adorably Scottish Ashley Jenson is set to play the best friend of Jenna Elfman’s character in the CBS comedy pilot Accidentally On Purpose. The show centers on Billie (Elfman), a movie critic who gets pregnant by a younger man. Production for that is set to begin in mid-April.
