Spartacus War Of The Damned Comic Con 2012 Panel: Watch It Here

One of the highlights of my trip to Comic Con this year was the Spartacus: War of the Damned panel. In fact, I picked it as my favorite panel at SDCC this year. So it's very exciting to see that Starz has released the full panel online for those fans of the gladiator-focused series who weren't able to be at Comic Con earlier this month.

Picking Spartacus as one of the best panels of SDCC 2012 was the easy part. Choosing a favorite moment within that panel proves to be a much bigger challenge. I'll be vague, for those of you who weren't there and haven't watched the video below yet (panel "spoilers" after the video!) but there were a number of great moments featured throughout the panel, which begins with series creator Steven DeKnight and stars Manu Bennett and Liam McIntyre as they discuss the upcoming final season of the series.

After some discussion about War of the Damned, Lucy Lawless, Nick Tarabay, Viva Bianca, Craig Parker, Katrina Law, Peter Mensah and Cynthia Addai-Robinson joined the panel. With the final season coming up, we got to look ahead at what's to come as Spartacus' army grows and the rebellion really gets fired up. And then when the former cast members returned, it gave the panel (and fans) the opportunity to look back on Vengeance and some of the highlights of the recent season. So there was a little bit of everything and it was all exciting and entertaining for fans. Gratitude to Starz for making it available for everyone who loves the show but couldn't be there!

The panel also featured the release of a new trailer for War of the Damned as well. The final season of the series premieres in January 2013.
