Taylor Swift Gets 'Ew' With Jimmy Fallon, Confirms MTV VMA Performance And Big News Ahead

Jimmy Fallon revisited his "Ew" segment this week with celebrity guest Taylor Swift. The singer was on hand, with teeth covered in braces and hair full of scrunchies to converse about all things "ew" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Looking far less Tweenish, Taylor Swift announce that she would be performing at the MTV Video Music Awards later this month, and that she has some kind of big announcement -- or multiple announcements -- coming up with a Yahoo live stream next week.

First let's talk about "Ew," because we saw that one coming when Swift presented Jimmy Fallon a video of herself as Natalie, a girl with a serious overbite situation happening. "Natalie" was the latest to join Jimmy Fallon n his recurring "Ew" sketch. And in addition to dancing to a weird Shake 'n Bake song, they went through things that are "Ew." For Natalie, among them is "getting back together." Because...

never ever

Fallon also sat down with actual Taylor Swift to talk about what she has coming up. Apparently, that includes a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, which are set to air Sunday, August 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

"And what it's gonna be," Swift told Jimmy Fallon, taking her time to lead up to the confirmation. "Is that I was gonna tell you that since we had such a good time and we wore braces together, I felt like it was a bonding experience that i will tell you that I'm going to perform at the VMAs."

Taylor Swift is also doing a Yahoo live stream this Monday (August 18 at 5:00 p.m. EST) and there will be one or possibly multiple announcements. Swift wouldn't confirm that it's a new album, but that is what Jimmy Fallon was alluding to during the conversation. Swift's last studio album was Red, which was released in 2012. So fans are likely eager to hear some new songs from the artist, and if she's lined up to perform at the VMA's, a new album announcement (or release?) next week would certainly be well-timed.

Also set to perform at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards are Usher, Ariana Grande, Iggy Aalea, 5 Seconds of Summer, Maroon 5 and Beyonce.
