Alfonso Ribeiro and Justin Timberlake have been on the celebrity golf circuit for a while, and this weekend the two celebrities competed in the 2016 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The two guys were clearly having a good time at the event, and just before they hit a couple of shots, they decided to wow the crowd with their dancing skills. More specifically, they did The Carlton. You can check it out, below.

If you aren’t familiar with The Carlton, it’s a dance move that came together when Alfonso Ribeiro was just still just kicking off his acting career on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. (He had appeared in Silver Spoons and other projects prior.) Ribeiro actually has spoken out about how The Carlton dance got started many years ago. Basically, the script said that the Carlton character would dance, and Ribeiro decided the dance needed to be the corniest dance ever. Thus, The Carlton was born. It’s a dance that has been around since the early nineties, but is still just as awesome today. If you haven’t given it a watch in the video above yet, here's a quick highlight:

This isn’t the first time Alfonso Ribeiro has busted out the old dance move. The man has actually performed the dance move with Justin Timberlake in the past on a different golf course and it proved to be a real crowd pleaser. Beyond the realm of golf, Alfonso Ribeiro was actually a popular contestant on Dancing with the Stars a few years ago, and busted out the move on the ABC reality competition series, as well. It's kind of amazing how one dance move has endeared the actor to a brand new generation of people and helped him to stay in the public spotlight.

After winning Dancing with the Stars, Alfonso Ribeiro used the career boost to nab the gig as the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos. He’s also a part of Unwrapped 2.0 and used his DWTS prominence to book a slew of appearances on talk shows, not to mention hang out with Justin Timberlake on the celebrity golf circuit.

Golf doesn't yield nearly as many viral moments as other sports can, so when something like The Carlton Dance happens on the course, it's easy to see why it blows up big. Plus, having two celebrities as varied as Justin Timberlake and Alfonso Ribeiro do something fun together doesn't happen all that often. When it does, we're all in.
