Watch This Lady Completely Fail On Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
I’ve never been on a game show before, but I would imagine it bubbles up some nervous feelings. The majority of people seem to be able to fight through those emotions and eventually settle in, but unfortunately for a contestant on Australia’s version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, she never got that chance. Because she failed, almost immediately.
There are a lot of stupid people on game shows. The sad thing is we don’t actually know if this woman is one of them. Sure, she missed this incredibly easy answer, but if she were by herself at home, she would nail this every time. This debacle was 100% nerve-related. Had she settled in, she might have whipped through every question en route to the cool million. Unfortunately, we’ll never know.
That’s the rub of being on a game show. You can win a whole lot of money in a hurry. You can impress your friends and have a cool little moment on national television. But the downside of that glorious chance is you can completely blow it… in spectacular fashion… on national television. Thanks to YouTube, these moments are going to be around forever too. There’s really no living something down like this. She’ll be getting shit about it from her family and friends for years. Hopefully, she learns to laugh it off and have a sense of humor about it. Or perhaps even tries out for another game show. Nothing would put these demons to rest faster than crushing Wheel Of Fortune or some other show.
Plus, if we know anything about game shows, it’s that someone will come along with an equally dumb answer next week. She’ll get 0 Points in the Family Feud bonus round. He’ll completely mispronounce the puzzle on Wheel Of Fortune. Hell, someone will tell a bad story on Jeopardy and earn a sad fifteen minutes of fame. Even Jon Hamm lost on The Dating Game. The land mines are everywhere, and this poor woman’s face has been repeated a ton of times …
Our sincerest thoughts go out to this poor lady as she tries to pick up the pieces. Here’s to hoping she doesn’t get it too tough from her family members and friends.
