Everybody's Gone To The Rapture Will Be Coming To PC
Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture first released back in August of last year for the PlayStation 4 and got raving reviews, but now the exploration-based adventure will finally be releasing onto PC.
Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture tells the story of a small, English town where its inhabitants have mysteriously disappeared. And of course, the more the player explores the town and investigates what happened, the more the story will unveil clues. The five different areas in the game all highlight a certain character, and if the player follows the strange floating balls of light, they’ll be able to discover what truly happened in the small village. You can check out the trailer below.
It wasn’t exactly unexpected news to hear that Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture was finally making its way to PC. PC Gamer actually revealed that the game was listed on a SteamDB list which was posted on NeoGaf. Among other things on the list was Half-Life 3. SteamDB made sure to note that these leaks aren’t always accurate, so until there’s an official announcement, you can only speculate. And today, the mystery surrounding the PC version of Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture was eliminated.
I have yet to play the game, and because of the title, I really do wonder if the game is that blunt where everyone really did become part of the rapture, or is there another kind of explanation for the disappearance? Guess I’ll have to play to find out.
If you’re looking to snag your own PC copy of the game, you’ll have to wait a tad bit longer, because developer The Chinese Room hasn’t announced a release date yet. For more information, you can head over to the game’s official website.
