PlayStation Vita Launch Lineup Announced

When the PlayStation Vita launches in North America next year, it will be accompanied by 25 games. Sony formally announced the handheld's day one software as well as the games that will be arriving soon after launch.

SCEA's John Koller said on the PlayStation.Blog that the Vita's launch lineup will be bigger and better than lineups for any previous PlayStation system. There are over 100 games in development. Here are the ones you can expect to arrive the soonest:

"Also, every PS Vita system will be packed with six AR Play Cards and one voucher to download a handful of augmented reality mini games called AR Play via the PlayStation Network," said Koller. "All first party games along with a selection of accessories and third party games will be available for purchase a week early (Feb. 15) in conjunction with the availability date of the First Edition PS Vita Bundle."

A $39.99 Starter Kit will give you a 4GB Memory Card, Pocket Pouch, Protective Film, Card Case, Headphones, and Cleaning Cloth. You can also buy individual memory cards, ranging from $19.99 4GB model to the $99.99 32GB model.
