Ask Joss Whedon Anything This Tuesday

Avengers geeks, prepare to assemble on Tuesday, April 10, at 11:30 a.m. PT. That’s when Joss Whedon, director of Marvel Studios’ upcoming blockbuster and all around hero to the fanboy culture, will participate in a (hopefully) candid “Ask-Me-Anything” session for Reddit.com subscribers.

ComicBookMovie scooped the details, explaining that Whedon will open up the discussion to his various works, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly to his efforts on Marvel’s sprawling Avengers. And as we recently learned when we were able to sit down and speak with Whedon one-on-one, he’ll answer everything. (Look for that interview on the site later this week.)

The Reddit series has been luring interesting celebs, from Bobcat Goldthwait to Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Whedon’s a perfect fit. As the site says, if you are a Reddit subscriber, you’ll be able to submit questions for Whedon to consider. If not, just play along at home by watching the live stream and absorbing all of Whedon’s knowledge.

Expect to hear a lot of Avengers news this week as the cast and crew convene in Los Angeles for the film’s world premiere, which will be held at the El Capitan theater in downtown Hollywood. And then we’ll sit back to see if the press embargo holds, as most who see the movie are forbidden to comment until we’re closer to the film’s release on May 4. So ask Whedon Cabin in the Woods questions on April 10, because there are a ton of mysteries to be solved by that outstanding thriller, and since it opens this Friday, you don’t have to wait quite as long to unravel all of the juicy spoilers.
