Exclusive Warm Bodies Blu-ray Bonus Clip Shows On Set Gags

Following an early digital release on May 14, Warm Bodies is hitting Blu-ray and DVD on June 4, and to celebrate, Lionsgate company Summit Entertainment has given us an exclusive Blu-ray bonus clip that takes a look at the set’s gag reel. The clip is pretty short, but it focuses on series lead Nicholas Hoult’s energetic personality when he can’t quite focus on his un-emotive zombie character.

Gag reels have become pretty standard with Blu-ray and DVD releases and this one is pretty focused on Hoult, who plays the lead zombie in the film. Granted, the 23-year-old had to go through plenty of weird scenes while shooting the zombie movie, including one where he ate a human and one where some girls paint his face with a bunch of random date night makeup, which leaves plenty of room for comedic moments. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen some interesting behind-the-scenes segments at shooting the movie, and the set itself will be chock full of bonus features.

The movie, which is based on a book of the same name by Isaac Marion, will offer a slew of short featurettes, from an “Extreme Zombie Makeover!” extra to “Whimsical Sweetness: Teresa Palmer’s Warm Bodies Home Movies.” Additionally, some regular extras, including audio commentary with director Jonathan Levine, deleted scenes, and a gag reel will also be included. You can check out the full list of bonus features, here.
