Are you a Marvel nut? Do you have a spare 12 hours 12 minutes and 10 seconds? Then you should probably pay very close attention to a video that has been created by The Comic Archive, which rejigs the first phase of Marvel’s cinematic universe to be in chronological order. Watch the video to learn how to make your own Marvel Movie Omnibus below:

Pretty impressive stuff. Those of you who, after viewing the above instructional video, want to create this marathon themselves don’t need to fret. Because those helpful sods over at The Comic Archive have provided meticulous tips on how to edit together each of Marvel’s films so that they unfold chronologically. In order to do this you will need to have some editing software at your disposal as well as the following films: Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Avengers. But that’s not all. You will also need footage from a few Marvel one-shots, including Agent Carter, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer, The Consultant, as well as the first and eighth episodes of the second season of Agents of SHIELD, entitled "Shadows" and "The Things We Bury" respectively.

But rather than simply placing Captain America: The First Avenger in its entirety before any of Tony Stark or Bruce Banner’s solo adventures, since the blockbuster is set in the 1940s, The Comic Archive even went to remarkable lengths to slice out particular flashbacks from this entire collection of films. They then re-ordered every single scene from the aforementioned 10 films, some of which are actually part of Marvel’s second cinematic phase, to play-out chronologically. Fancy creating your own? They’ve even provided a comprehensive list of the edits that you need to make, as well as the timecodes for each scene too. Click to see the timecodes on to the next page if you plan on progressing with your own edit.

The creation of How To Make A Marvel Movie Omnibus – Phase 1 by The Comic Archive is yet another example of why the internet is just so God damn wonderful. This level of fandom deserves to be celebrated in all of its glory. Even if the people who created it, and anyone who actually tries to watch the entire clip in one seating, are almost certainly certifiable.
