Operation Kino Podcast #35: Tower Heist Reviewed And Piracy Discussed

This week on Operation Kino, there's a car made of solid gold at the top of the skyscraper and we're the only people who can get to it, as we review Tower Heist. After that we get into a conversation about piracy, and whether or not movies like Tower Heist actually subversively promote it-- well, that's Da7e's theory at least. But first we start with a lightning round inspired by our favorite dop fiends Harold & Kumar, then move on to tidbits, where Da7e mourns the death of the movie camera, David wants you to see the play Sleep No More, Patches heartily recommends the book The Marriage Plot, and Katey wants Mindy Kaling to be her big sister. We end, as always, with dessert.

You may notice the home of Operation Kino is looking a little different, and may we say spiffier. Kino Katey is no longer, and while you'll still be able to find those features like Virgin Territory and other video blogs at Cinema Blend, Operation Kino has gotten a well-deserved home of its own. It's change, but definitely for the better!
