On the movie side, Netflix has front-loaded its new arrivals with a mix of nostalgic hits and acclaimed late-90s and early-2000s movies. The Christopher Reeve Superman movies, License to Drive, Caddyshack, The Parent Trap and The Shining are among the older films joining the streaming line-up. For those looking for something relatively more recent, there's Boogie Nights, Braveheart, V For Vendetta and Vanilla Sky, among other movies. And for something much more recent, there's Alice Through The Looking Glass.
Among the Netflix originals, A Series of Unfortunate Events debuts on January 13. Neil Patrick Harris is playing Count Olaf in Netflix's small screen re-adaptation. Check out the trailer for that one here. There's also a new Bill Burr comedy special coming later in January.
