Several Jersey Tanning Salons Ban Tanning Mom

Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil might be eating up her newfound fame, but it seems all the media attention has brought a few clear downsides as well. The New Jersey mother has reportedly been banned from entering numerous tanning establishments near her home. She might be willing to pay good money for an even browner figure, but many of the local providers don’t have any interest in her business. One has reportedly even put up signs for its employees behind the counter so she won’t be able to slip through the cracks.

According to TMZ, the New Jersey Department Of Health has also launched an investigation into City Tropics Tan, the establishment where Tanning Mom reportedly tanned alongside her five-year-old daughter. It’s unclear whether they’ll ultimately face state government wrath, but even if they don’t, it’s hard to imagine the entire tanning industry isn’t desperately hoping this mess will go away.

The reason why beer commercials don’t feature alcoholics is the same general thought process behind why none of these businesses want anything to do with Tanning Mom. I’m sure there’s someone out there who will let the woman get her fix but in a perfect world, she’d probably use all of these bans as motivation for either giving up her vice or moving to Texas where she could just lay out in her backyard.
