Dexter Season 7, Episode 8 - A Look At Argentina
Dexter's gotten himself twisted up in some major drama, which is starting to make it a little bit easier to picture him getting caught or worse, killed. Last night's episode had him playing with fire, then doing his best to snuff out some of the flames. But he's not the only one playing this game and if he isn't careful, he's going to have some serious problems.
Spoilers if you haven't seen last night's episode of Dexter ("Chemistry")!
This Hannah situation is messy. It's been messy from the start, but last night it got even messier when Sal Price dropped dead on the floor of Dexter's living room. That moment should have been a flashing red light for Dexter, telling him to walk away from Hannah. Instead, the episode ended with him cuddled up next to her. His Dark Passenger is at the wheel, it seems because a Dexter in control would see what a problem this woman is. Of course, it doesn't help that Hannah is gorgeous and accepts him for who she is.
But there's someone else who's trying to accept Dexter for who she is. And she wants Hannah dead! The preview for next week's episode ("Argentina") shows some interesting moments involving Deb.
We knew Deb wasn't going to like knowing that Dexter was sleeping with Hannah, but she seems livid in the video above, both when she's talking to Dexter and when she's facing Hannah. And rightfully so! Not only does she love Dexter, but she was also just starting to get to know Sal Price, who's now dead at the hands of Hannah. So for Dexter to be sleeping with this woman probably feels like a pretty major betrayal.
Dexter not only has to deal with this situation with Hannah and Deb, but he also has Isaak on his tail. And it looks like Dexter may have a brush with death while on his donut run. The thought of Dexter getting donuts reminds me of Season 1!
Dexter airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Showtime. Read our full breakdown of last night's "Chemistry" here.
