Thanks to multiple leaks, we know pretty much everything there is to know about Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Revolution Map Pack. However, the new trailer from Activision reveals that the game's zombie co-op will be receiving a new game mode called "Turned."
The Revolution Map Pack adds four new maps for competitive multiplayer. You can read the descriptions for "Mirage," "Downhill," "Grind" and "Hydro" here. The DLC also unlocks a Peacekeeper SMG, complete with its own XP challenges. Revolution will be the first COD content that adds a weapon to the game.
The most popular part of the Revolution DLC, however, is bound to be the new zombie co-op content. The new "Die Rise" map takes place in ruined skyscrapers in a Chinese city. Players will be able to wield upgradeable "Wonder Weapons" and build devices as they fight off the zombie horde.
The new "Turned" game mode allows players to take on the role of zombies. These zombie players must then take down the one lone human player. Whoever kills that survivor will then respawn as the human and the cycle will begin anew. The human player will rack up points for killing zombies and staying alive.
The Revolution DLC will debut on Xbox Live on January 29th. You can download for no additional charge if you own the Season Pass for the game. Otherwise, you'll need to pay 1200 MS Points ($14.99).
