Here's How You Can Watch Sony's Press Conference Like A VIP

Sony is bringing back the PlayStation E3 Experience for the third year in a row. After starting the event in 2014 where they allowed the general public to watch the Sony press conference at local theaters, they've announced that they're bringing back the VIP experience for gamers.

IGN is reporting that over 85 different movie theaters across the United Staes, Canada and Latin America will feature the Sony E3 press conference, live. Gamers will be able to pile into a theater, gain some free PlayStation memorabilia, and watch as some of the biggest and most anticipated games get unveiled via the big screen.

Over on the PlayStation Blog they detail that the PlayStation E3 Experience will take place on Monday, June 13th in just two week's time. The 85 theaters will span 46 different states across America, with some larger states having multiple theaters playing the PS E3 Experience, while Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec will each have a showing in select cities for those living in Canada.

They didn't quite roll out the details on the locations that will be available for those living in Latin America, but they did suggest for Latin American gamers to keep an eye on the Latin American rendition of the PlayStation Blog for details on attending theaters showing the highly anticipated E3 event.

Free tickets will be available at select theaters starting May 31st, this Tuesday. You can check the PlayStation Blog for details on which theater locations will be handing out tickets. They also released a minute long hype video to help get fans geared up for the PlayStation event. You can check it out below.

This upcoming E3 is expected to be a complete wild card.

While we know that certain games will obviously be in attendance – such as Guerrilla Games' Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Last Guardian and Sumo Digital's Crackdown 3, the latter of which is expected to begin its multiplayer alpha test sometime this summer for the Xbox One – what we don't know is whether or not any of those massive rumors will be true.

Rockstar has been rumored to unveil a new Red Dead game at this year's E3, supposedly breaking their tradition of skipping E3 to announce the new game. Additionally, Sony and Microsoft are also rumored to announce new mid-generation console refreshes for the Xbox One and PS4, along with some new VR technology.

One of the more dampened moments of this year's E3 is the fact that we will not be learning more about the Nintendo NX. The Big 'N' forfeited to show the NX at this year's trade show, but they did state that they will dedicate this year's E3 to nothing but The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U.

Now it's just a matter of getting to the middle of June to see what sort of huge surprises gamers can expect out of the major publishers and console manufacturers. And with Sony keeping the PlayStation E3 Experience alive, they must obviously have some big things in store for PlayStation gamers.
