Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron Trailer Spotlights Grimlock

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will introduce a number of characters not seen in its predecessor War for Cybertron. Perhaps the most exciting addition to the cast is Grimlock, the subject of a new trailer.

Instead of transforming into a vehicle, Grimlock transforms into a T-Rex. As a result, he's a much more slower, more melee-oriented character. In his bot form, he wields a sword and shield. He builds up rage by fighting in this form, and can shift to his dinosaur form once he's gained enough.

High Moon previously announced that the game will feature the Combaticons as well. This faction of Transformers can actually combine into a massive bot called Bruticus. Some might argue that Bruticus is even cooler than Grimlock but I have a soft spot for swordfighting robots that turn into dinosaurs.

Fall of Cybertron, featuring the end of the civil war betweenthe Autobots and Decepticons, will arrive on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in August.
