Anchorman 2 Teaser Trailer Will Be Attached To The Dictator

While it did take a long time for Paramount Pictures to finally give Anchorman 2 the greenlight, there was another obstacle in the movie's way: the cast is monstrous. In addition to Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, the Channel 4 News Team was made up of Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner, some of the most popular comedians in Hollywood. Yet somehow director Adam McKay and his people have been able to do it and now it looks like you'll be able to get your first look at the movie next.

Collider has confirmed with a source that the first teaser trailer for Anchorman 2 will be playing in front of screenings of The Dictator, which arrives in theaters next Wednesday. Also attached to the movie will be the trailer for the Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis comedy The Campaign (which arrived online just this morning). What's more, the source has given the site a description of the trailer, which you can read below:

“Just got out of a screening of The Dictator. There is an Anchorman 2 teaser attached featuring the Channel 4 news team (minus Veronica) stating how excited they are to return… a concept that Brick seems to have a hard time with. Also, not sure if it was an official title or more of a slogan but the screen title read Anchorman: The Legend Continues followed by ’2013′”

So not only are we getting a new teaser, but has the title been confirmed as well? If it does end up being real then I will be slightly disappointed, as I would have guessed they could come up with something more creative. It's unknown when the trailer might arrive online, but when (or if) it does you can be sure that we will have it here on Cinema Blend.
