Brandon Camp Has Some Family Secrets

Brad Epstein previously produced Dan in Real Life, a comedy about a family gathering where adult children learn secrets about each other. Now he's going in a totally different direction with Relativity, a comedy about a family gathering where, uh, adult children... OK, OK, it basically sounds like the same thing.

Relativity, a script by Peter A. Craig, is going forward regardless of its similarities to Dan in Real Life, with Brandon Camp now onboard to direct. According to Variety he made his feature debut with the upcoming Jennifer Aniston-Aaron Eckhart dramedy Love Happens, which I guess must be decent if the guy is already getting another job. Oh, and can I spoil you the secret that happens in this variation on the family comedy? They're all adopted! Har har har.

I make fun of this movie only because I will in all likelihood see it, and probably laugh and cry, and be baffled when I'm the only one sticking up for it among my more cynical critics. So before you start ragging on me for hating on everything, just know it's all a front. Brandon Camp has, in all likelihood, already stolen my heart.
