Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 Poster Is Loaded With Food-Animal Hybrids

Allow me to set up a hypothetical situation. Say you and some other people are having a wonderful, fun time on a nice, peaceful boat ride, when you suddenly come across a land that seems to having animals and beasts of all different kids that are made out of pickles, hamburgers, bananas , cakes and tacos. Would your first reaction be to drop your jaw and stare at the scene in awe? If you answered yes, then you should find the new poster for Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 quite relatable.

The brand new one-sheet has appeared over on Yahoo!, and if you can look past the ridiculously scaled sailing vessel (is that a row boat painted like a cruise ship or are the characters 80 feet tall?) it's actually a pretty fun design. I particularly enjoy the green onion dinosaurs, but what's your favorite food/animal hybrid? Check out the poster below and see it full size over at the source.

Featuring returning stars Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Neil Patrick Harris and more, the sequel picks up with Flint Lockwood (Hader) living a happy life and working his dream job at The Live Corp Company. Things start to go terribly wrong, however, when he learns that not only is his machine still active, it's been creating troublesome living pieces of food. Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn take over directing duties from Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and Horrible Bosses screenwriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein took care of scripting duties.

Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 will be in theaters September 27th and you'll find more about it in our Blend Film Database.
