Durst Does It All For The Nookie

Fred Durst, the tattoo-laden frontman of rock-rap group “Limp Bizkit”, has not in fact fallen off the face of the earth. No such luck. Instead, he has been eyeing a new career in indie film directing.

According to Variety, Durst will make his feature film directorial debut on the indie flick The Education of Charlie Banks, starring Jesse Eisenberg, Jason Ritter, and Chris Marquette. Iridium Entertainment is financing the film.

The story involves a Vassar college student who gets a surprise visit from the scariest kid in his old New York neighborhood. Eisenberg, fresh off the success of Squid and the Whale will play the lead role. Durst has directed music videos before, but this is first venture into filmmaking. If he can pull it off, good for him; anything to keep him away from another tattoo parlor or live audiences.
