Jesse Ventura Also Took Part In The Wachowskis' Mysterious New Project

Remember last December, when Arianna Huffington tweeted about taking part in Andy and Lana Wachowski's "documentary about Iraq from the perspective of the future"? We had no idea what on earth it could be back then, and in typical Wachowski style, they didn't clear it up. Now the mystery has gotten even deeper: Jesse Ventura, the former wrestler and governor of Minnesota, was there too.

Appearing on the Howard Stern show yesterday, Ventura mentioned that he "just did one with the Wachowski brothers," and when Stern asked him what the film was exactly, Ventura responded "I don't know." As reported by Slashfilm, Ventura went on to tell a story that sounds pretty similar to what Huffington documented back in December, except his hairdo was even stranger:

“Wait til you hear what they did. They brought me, and they brought Arianna Huffington in after me. Arianna was there, and they had her looking like cleopatra. What they did… Do you remember what John Travolta looked like in that horrible film Battlefield Earth? They put multicolored dreadlocks on me all the way to here. They gave me this crazy beard that was hanging down pointed, looked like Travolta, right? And they put a third eye in the middle of my forehead. Because what this is, is this is a hundred years in the future, and they wanted me to talk about the current war in Iraq and how I felt about it. And so I got to vent, looking like this maniac in this whole outfit.”

What is this movie, and why do the Wachowskis assume that in the future we'll want Arianna Huffington and Jesse Ventura telling us about politics? The mystery deepens. I'm just waiting for Rahm Emmanuel or Jimmy Carter or some other random political figure to step forward and add their own piece of the puzzle.
