Keira's Prejudice Pushed

Because you can't possibly have too much Jane Austen, yet another version of Pride and Prejudice is on the way to theaters this fall. This marks the second try just this year, the fantastic Bollywood version Bride and Prejudice being the first. At least Bride and Prejudice had dancing, I expect no such creativity from this upcoming Keira Knightley powered version. I guess women love to see other women tortured by overlong skirts. Someone has to see it.

But the film is coming later rather than sooner. Focus Features announced today that they're pushing the release date away from the doldrums of September to the more audience friendly month of November. November 18, 2005 to be specific. Though I'm not sure I see the point in making yet another adaptation of anything by Jane Austen, let alone the overdone Pride and Prejudice, at least maybe we'll find out proof positive whether Keira Knightley can actually act.

Along with the release date change, Focus has released a pair of pictures. Take a look at all the terribly romantic kissing below.
