Despite getting the bulk of the attention in Mirror Mirror, Julia Roberts has not really sparkled onscreen for me since Charlie Wilson’s War, and even then, I expect that came more from the brightness of her character’s bouffant of blonde hair more than anything else. Despite Roberts’ pretty decent take the wicked queen in Tarsem Singh’s newest Snow White adaptation, the actress does seem a bit reserved, possibly because she has a reputation of oozing happy endings to maintain.
Despite this, and possibly because of Lily Collins’ and Armie Hammer’s roles, Mirror Mirror is still a splendid endeavor, one you can see for yourself when the flick hits Blu-Ray and DVD on June 26. The film was initially produced by Relativity Media, but Twentieth Century Fox will be handling the at-home release, and will not be holding back any bells and whistles, at least with Blu-Ray copies. While DVD copies will only come with two featurettes, “Looking Through the Mirror” and “Prince and Puppies,” Blu-Ray copies will come with a slew of extras, as well as a DVD and Digital copy.
You can check out the full list of special features below, or just wait until the set works its magic in June. By then we will have seen how the flick stacks up next to the other Snow White movie,Snow White and the Huntsman.
