Knowing the truth about something horrible and having nobody believe you is a truly terrible thing. You not only begin to question yourself, but you begin to question how others perceive you. Do they think that you're not telling the truth because they don't believe the story, or because they don't believe the storyteller? Even worse, the more serious the situation, the more painful it is. Like, for example, if your sister has been kidnapped by a madman.

The first trailer for Gone, the new thriller from director Heitor Dhalia and starring Amanda Seyfried has arrived online. Check it out below or in HD over on Yahoo!

In the movie Seyfried plays Jill, a young woman who is two years removed from a horrible incident: she was kidnapped by a serial killer and left in a hole in the middle of the woods to die. When her sister inexplicably goes missing, Jill believes that it's the work of the same serial killer out for revenge against the only one that got away. Gone co-stars Jennifer Carpenter, Daniel Sunjata, Wes Bentley, Sebastian Stan and Joel David Moore. Look for it when it hits theaters on February 24, 2012.
