Thor Tries To Retrieve His Hammer In Three New Stills

There's always a strange feeling that comes over me when a major superhero movie is only one month from its release date. Thanks to their high-profile nature, there is rarely a single detail about the production that doesn't find its way online. In the case of Thor, we've been reporting about the film since May of 2008. Needless to say, it's weird to see three years of work come to a head. But enough of the sentimentality - let's move on to the badassness.

Paramount has released three new stills from the upcoming Kenneth Branagh pic, which will be released nationwide on May 6. Based on what we've seen from the trailers, the first still features Thor (Chris Hemsworth) after he is discovered on Earth for the first time, while the other two take place when the Norse God decides to break into a S.H.I.E.L.D. compound and take back his hammer, Mjolnir.
