Tribeca Video: Katey And Robert Hand Out Their Awards

The Tribeca Film Festival ended yesterday on a rainy, cool day, when most sane attendees were inside catching the award winners. Not me and Robert from Film School Rejects! No, we were tramping around Greenwich Village, looking for a place to set up our podcast out of the rain and talk to you once more about what we've seen at the festival, in addition to handing out our own awards based on the tiny fraction of movies that we've seen.

So welcome to the second and final video podcast from the Tribeca Film Festival, featuring myself and Robert huddled under the awning in front of the NYU library. We hand out awards for Best Narrative, Best Documentary, Best Actor and Actress, as well as some sillier ones of our own-- Best Murder Weapon, Best Villain, and the all-important Best Unintentionally Funny Scene. Watch the video below to find out why Rob likes Sam Rockwell better than Ciaran Hinds, how a pot roast can kill, and what we're looking forward to doing now that the festival is over, and we've gotten our lives back.

Please excuse the slightly shoddy framing here-- we were working with a tripod that had no one standing behind it, and apparently we migrated nearly off-camera by the time the podcast was over. Luckily you can still actually hear us, even though a man banging a metal pipe and a marching band apparently were wandering around in the background. The joys of New York, people.
