Subscribe To The Captain America: Civil War Blu-Ray Will Have Deleted And Extended Scenes Updates
Captain America: Civil War has been in theaters for two months now around the globe, and the overall consensus has been that it's one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's best entries. For many fans, that makes them all the more eager to grab their own copy of the movie. The Blu-ray release is still a long ways away, but in the meantime, we finally know what special features will be available on it, and as is the case with many major releases, these will include some deleted and extended scenes.
Earlier this week, a Captain America: Civil War Blu-ray was on display at New York City's Disney Holiday Preview event, giving fans their first taste of all the extra goodies the disc will provide later this year. The specific deleted/extended scenes weren't revealed, but they're likely composed mostly of more exposition and dialogue between the main heroes. Given how action-packed the third Captain America installment was, hopefully there are also some extra fighting scenes, whether it's the Team Cap members battling Crossbones or the massive brawl between the two sides later in the story. This list of special features (via ComicBookMovie, originally posted by Stitch Kingdom) also includes:
United We Stand, Divided We Fall --- The Making of Captain America: Civil War -- Part 1 & 2 -- From skinny volunteer to backbone of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, chart Captain America's journey through every decisive moment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in this complete behind-the-scenes look at a landmark in the Marvel saga.

These special features sound about right for Captain America: Civil War, ranging from profiling the two main heroes to listening to the filmmakers talk about the movie while it's playing. Those who loved Captain America: Civil War will no doubt enjoy spending a few hours perusing these featurettes. The home release also continues the tradition of previewing an upcoming Marvel release. In this case, Doctor Strange, the first MCU movie to fully delve into magic. If the first teaser trailer didn't impress you, maybe this sneak peek will change your mind before the movie is released in November. After all, this is a different beast from most of the stuff Marvel usually puts out, so it might help to see the creative process behind the scenes.
There are still many months to go until Captain America: Civil War is released on Blu-ray, but you can still watch the movie in many theaters domestically and internationally.
